Numbers are my sweet spot

Working with numbers and keeping things organized have always been my sweet spot.

I chose to be an engineer because of how math and physics are so satisfyingly predictable. There are rules to apply and the outcome is always the same, no matter how many times you add up the same numbers.

Admin, my second nature

On top of that, I have always loved administration. Call me crazy, I know!

I have the patience to never give up on endless paperwork. I will always keep my focus and aim for efficiency. And I love putting my analytical thinking to the test when it comes to complex matters.

Sense of purpose

My professional career brought me from Business Analyst, over IT-tester to Assistant Manager.

I loved my jobs but I noticed something was missing. I wanted to make a difference, use my strengths to the fullest and be challenged as well.

Second Banana was born

During a private renovation project I discovered local small businesses were struggling with their paperwork.

It quickly became clear they were lacking time and interest to keep up with their back office. They were in need of someone to manage their administration and, more importantly, someone they could rely on.

Finally, it all came together. Second Banana was born.

Did you know...

The source of the term Second Banana was a 1920s comedy gig in which three comedians tried to share two bananas.

The head clown, or First Banana, needed a sidekick for his jokes to work. The comedian that could best support the head clown in his act was therefore called the Second Banana.
